Normod Drilling is a Norwegian based drilling contractor specializing in drilling in the Northern Hemisphere. Normod Drilling will be based in the Stavanger region and will seek to develop and retain a Norwegian based organization and expertise to support its operations.

Normod Drilling will focus on safe and efficient rig design, using latest technology, but also standardised drilling packages, with focus on remote operations and automation, maintenance optimisation with focus on unit-exchange programs, shortening rig time for maintenance.

We are designing solution that are future-oriented, making our rigs the most sustainable, efficient and smart on the market. 

Our rig offer is specialised around the following rigs;

Semi-submersibles, moored, Posmoor ATA and DP

Normod Drilling offers Hybrid eco friendly harsh environment semi submersible drilling and completion type units, of the CS60 design, including thruster assist of fully DP III, covering water depths from +/- 70 to 1000 meters of water depth (250 to 3500 ft.)

All units will be harsh environment, built to operate world-wide, in the Northe Sea, including the Norwegian Continental Shelf, (AOC and UK Safety  Case Compliant), and be winterized to - 20c (operating) for Northern Atlantic/Barents Sea Operations.

Jack-ups, specialized for North Sea operations

North Sea type jack up for operation in the North Sea, capable to work in harsh environment, year-round drilling capable to work in up to 150 meter water depth.

Other

Normod Drilling is also considering other type units, such as well intervention, drillships (Ultra Deepwater Units) etc.

Operate drilling units through experienced crew and management with knowledge and experience from operation on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including knowledge of Norwegian Authorities (Rules and Regulations).
